On campus, Zilala is a part of the Einhorn Center, the Community Partnership Funding Board, and TEDx Cornell. Off campus, Zilala is the Co-founder of the nonprofits United Uyghur Youth and Rawan Mentorship and also closely collaborates with Freedom House and Amnesty International on international grants and research projects. In her free time, you can find Zilala battling her addiction to procrastination, hunting for new music, or grubbing on West with Mira.
