Arlene Rodriguez

Arlene is a senior from Teaneck, NJ majoring in Industrial Labor Relations and minoring in Law & Society and Inequality Studies. She has a strong interest in immigration, corporate and civil rights law. This summer Arlene interned at JP Morgan Chase as a Human Resource Analyst, where she will be returning full time post graduation before heading to law school. Previously, she has worked with the New York City Office of Collective Bargaining, gaining useful knowledge in the field of labor and employment law. Additionally, she has also interned at a private firm, working under Partner Jerry Gonzalez on immigration and criminal cases. Outside of KAPi, Brother Arlene serves as the President of MILRSO (Minorities in ILR Student Organization), an ILR Peer Mentor, and a Sister of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She has previously served as the President of Quisqueya: Dominican Student Association, an RA at Ganedago Hall, and lastly, VP of DEI and VP of Pre Professional Programming for KAPi. Arlene currently works at the Housing And Residential Life, as well as “The Centers” at 626 Thurston as a Student Advisor. In her free time you can find her locked in at Catherwood Library, going on random adventures with Brother Thej, or hanging out at ILR’s Office of Student Services. She enjoys cooking, journaling on the slope, anything pink, and going on Dunkin’ runs.
