Mira is a junior studying Global Development with minors in American Indian and Indigenous Studies and Law and Society. Coming from a family of climate-impacted farmers, Mira is passionate about pursuing law to protect the rights of ecologic, migrant, and indigenous communities. On campus, Mira is Co-President of the Cornell Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and serves as the undergraduate representative for the Global Development Sustainability Committee. At the Brooks School of Public Policy, Mira is a Contributing Writer for the Cornell Policy Review of the MPA program and a member of the State Policy Advocacy Clinic with Professor Alexandra Dufresne, through which she introduces immigration policy solutions to the New York State Legislature. If Mira isn't writing with a latte in hand, you may catch her practicing guitar, munching with Zilala, or chilling at the Alley Cat Café in the commons.
