Casey Platkin
Casey is a junior from the San Francisco Bay Area studying Industrial and Labor Relations with minors in Public Policy and Law & Society. Outside of KAPi, he is a member of Scheinman Conflict Resolution Club and the Cornell Workplace Review. In addition, he represents the ILR School in the Student Assembly. Off-campus, he has interned at the federal, state, and local levels, primarily doing political advocacy and legislative research. This past summer, Casey worked as a research intern for the Economic Policy Institute, a non-partisan think tank focused on elevating lower and middle income people. Casey said that he "has ideological qualms with this mission but he likes the colors on their logo". Casey enjoys exploring the outdoors, reading philosophy, and drinking black coffee with Claudia.
