Alhassan Bangura

Alhassan is a senior from Baltimore, Maryland, triple-majoring in Biological Sciences, Government, and History in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is passionate about healthcare and disability law alongside public policy. On campus, he is the President of the Cornell Undergraduate Research Board (CURB) and Medicine, Education, and Development for Low-Income Families Everywhere (MEDLIFE). Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Student Assembly Office of Ethics and Student Assembly Mental Health Standing Committee, Director of Outreach and Co-Founder of RespectAbility, and Director of Recruitment and Co-Founder of the American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative. Last summer, Alhassan was a Legislative Intern for the Baltimore County Council. In his spare time, Alhassan enjoys spreading lies and misinformation with Matthew and Agnes, scheming with Jack, bothering Spencer, and pretending to be deep in thought at libraries.
