LAW SCHOOL PREPARATION
Our New Member Education process, bi-weekly chapter meetings, and member-exclusive events prepare Brothers to be an ideal candidate for top law schools and to succeed in law school. Kappa Alpha Pi holds round-table discussions with Deans of top law schools, workshops on the law school admissions process, discounts to exclusive LSAT preparation courses, and etc. Our alumni are who are currently attending or have graduated from every T14 school help our current members navigate the law school application process.
Career Development
During the first semester, brothers of Kappa Alpha Pi develop their professional skills, explore career paths, perfect their resumes and cover letters, hone their public speaking skills, and deepen their understanding of law through our New Member Education process. The professional and leadership skills learned as a new member are invaluable regardless of whether one is continuing in the field of law or not. After New Member Education, brothers have access to various networking and professional opportunities in which they use these newly-learned skills to get started on their careers.
FRATERNALISM
As Kappa Alpha Pi greatly aids each member in pursuing their interest in the legal field, it also provides a community of like minded individuals that share a common passion. Our fraternity provides you with a group of brothers and sisters that will end up creating some of the best memories you will take away from your time at Cornell.
Alumni Network
The Kappa Alpha Pi alumni network is extensive and impressive. Brothers have attended the nation’s top law schools, business schools, and P.hD and Master’s programs. Many have had their degrees partially or fully funded through nationally competitive fellowships (Truman, Mitchell, Fulbright, Shwartzman, etc.). Brothers also work in the top law firms, government jobs, non-profits, and professional services companies. Each new member has the opportunity to connect with and learn from an alumni mentor working in their particular field of interest. After initiation, Brothers get access to our exclusive Delta chapter Alumni Database going back to the Alpha (founding) class.
