Matthew is a junior from Westchester, NY majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations with prospective minors in Psychology and Inequality Studies on the Health Equity track. His passion for mental health advocacy drives his legal interests in disability law and is particularly interested in accessibility in the workplace. Matthew serves as the co-president of EARS (Empathy, Assistance & Referral Service), a student-led mental health organization that promotes mental and emotional well-being at Cornell through training and peer mentoring services. In addition, he is an active member of the Disability Advocates Union. Matthew is currently working as an intern with Navigating AWEtism, a volunteer crisis counselor with Crisis Text Line, and a barista at Green Dragon; he has previously worked in a federal courthouse. In his free time, you can find Matt attempting to bake, hanging out with the amazing Alpha Alpha class, expanding his hoodie collection, and indulging in energy drinks.
