Claire is a senior from Las Vegas, Nevada studying Industrial and Labor Relations with a double minor in Inequality Studies and Law and Society. They are most interested in impact litigation surrounding the opioid epidemic and aspire to be a tri-sector law, government, and business leader in their endeavors.

On campus, Claire serves as the Executive Vice President of the Cornell Student Assembly, representing over 15,000 constituents. They have sparked national debate surrounding content warnings in education after unanimously passing legislation through the Assembly to balance students’ mental health needs and academic freedom. They have also worked extensively on the University Assembly’s Campus Welfare Committee to ensure consistent access to Naloxone and other harm-reduction resources at Cornell.

This past summer, Claire was an ILR in NYC High Road Fellow interning with New York Assemblymember Alex Bores (D-73). When they’re not drowning with work, Claire enjoys spending hours doing their nails, scrolling through Twitter, collecting little trinkets from antique markets, and finding their inner peace with yoga.
