Ashley Kim

Ashley is a junior double majoring in the History of Art and the Robert S. Harrison College Scholar Program. With a passion for protecting ownership and stewardship rights of art and artifacts in both the market and archival collections, she is interested in cultural property and intellectual property law. This past summer Ashley worked at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage’s record label, Folkways Recordings as a Shared Stewardship and Ethical Returns intern. Ashley is currently the Rights and Reproductions Intern at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art as well as President of Cornell's History of Art Club, New Member Educator of the Cornell Intellectual Property and Ethics Club (CIPEC), and members of the Music Production Club and Korean-American Students Association. In her free time, Ashley loves listening to music (new recs always welcomed!), practicing guitar, and surfing Depop.
