Ashley is a junior double majoring in the History of Art and the Robert S. Harrison College Scholar Program. With a passion for protecting ownership and stewardship rights of art and artifacts in both the market and archival collections, she is interested in cultural property and intellectual property law. This past summer Ashley worked with the Smithsonian Institution as a Shared Stewardship and Ethical Returns Intern, dealing with culturally sensitive materials and reparative actions. On campus, Ashley is the Rights and Reproductions Intern at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Vice President of the Cornell Intellectual Property and Ethics Club (CIPEC), a Humanities Scholar, and previously worked with Caucasus Heritage Watch, utilizing satellite imagery to monitor and assess endangered cultural heritage sites. In her free time, Ashley loves finding new music and grabbing dinner with her big Dorothy and little Shrayes.
