Santiago Valenzuela
Santiago is a senior from Bogota, Colombia pursuing a double major in History and Philosophy. His desire to attend law school stems from a deep interest in the evolving nature of morality and humanity's ongoing attempt to codify it. In the future, he wants to work either in the rapidly developing field of cyberlaw or focus on policymaking. He has experience in the private and public sectors, having interned for various private equity funds and working as a fellow on a gubernatorial campaign. This past summer, Santiago conducted counter-terrorism research for a think tank within the Department of Defense. On campus, he is a member of the Varsity Polo Team, Sigma Chi, and a research assistant for the History Department. In his free time, Santiago enjoys cooking, exercising, and exploring the outdoors.
