Zoe Yao

Zoe is a senior from the California Bay Area studying Government and History. She is one of KAPi’s New Member Educators and is a proud member of Cornell Thrift, Cornell Catholic, and Chinese Students Association. Outside of Cornell, she serves on the Board of Directors for Californians Advancing Civic Education (CACE) and works to build civic engagement among high school students. Previously, Zoe has worked for Capital One, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, and Proskauer Rose LLP.
She’s passionate about sustainability, social justice, and has a bad habit of destroying her clothes in an attempt to upcycle them. When she’s not busy with school or work, you’ll find her attached to Brothers Sami and Ivana in Zeus.
