Jonathan Zheng
Jonathan is a senior from Queens, NY studying ILR with minors in Law & Society, Inequality Studies, CPEJ, and History of Capitalism. He is passionate about entering public service/government and making the legal system more accessible, more equitable, and more just for everyday people. This past summer, he worked for a nonprofit and crafted a 100+ page research report on public banking as part of a coalition effort to establish New York State's first public bank. Previously, he has served at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, the NYC Parks Department, and the NYC Housing Authority, where he helped investigate cases of discrimination and sexual harassment. On campus, Jonathan is a brother of APO and bartends at Taverna Banfi. He had also served as KAPi's Philanthropy Chair and Chair of the Student Assembly Infrastructure Fund Commission. This Fall, Jonathan will be studying abroad in London, UK. He can often be found cooking Chinese food in hopes of matching his 奶奶's skills, reading politics, aspiring to be a sommelier, and desperately trying to finish the seven TV shows he had started...
