Emily is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is a Literatures in English and French double major with minors in Law & Society and Inequality Studies. She is interested in social justice and hopes to pursue a career in criminal defense. This past summer, Emily interned for Justice 360, a nonprofit organization in South Carolina dedicated to advancing equality in the criminal justice system, researched colonial insurgencies in the Art History department, and prepared legal briefs for a judge at Tompkins County Courthouse. She is also the volunteer and outreach coordinator for the Tenants Legal Hotline. When she isn't reading novels or listening to true crime podcasts, you can find Emily on the Arts quad showing strangers pictures of her dog.
