Carson Taylor
Carson is a senior majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations from Huntington Beach, California. They are interested in intersections of public benefits, employment, and disability law. They are a transfer student who attended the United States Military Academy and completed a virtual exchange program with the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. At Cornell, they serve on the Student Assembly as Parliamentarian and work as a Undergraduate Resident Fellow on West Campus and as Cornell Dining staff in Alice Cook Dining. They are a founder and president of the Disability Advocates’ Union and spend much of their time on disability activism. For fun, they serve as Editor-In-Chief of CU Nooz. In their free time, they enjoy hiking, running on the beach, and playing tennis. They enjoy theater, board games, and watching video essays. In their first three jobs, they worked as a Postmates/UberEats driver, professional tennis mascot, and part-time standup comedian. In the future, they aspire to coach an AYSO soccer team.
