Yufei "Grace" Gao

Grace is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences pursuing majors in Government and Sociology with minors in Law & Society and Inequality Studies. She was born and raised in Qingdao, China. Grace is currently most interested in education law and international human rights law. She saw the law as the perfect avenue for her to advocate for others and put her values into practice. Outside of KAPi, Grace is also involved with the Tenant's Legal Hotline, service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, MCSA, and Chinese Drama Society. She was also a research assistant at the Department of Sociology working on a project studying the impact of the largest federal place-based education policy. This past summer, Grace worked as a legal intern at the Tenants Law Firm - a non-profit organization fighting for the rights of tenants and their children in California. In her free time, she likes to cuddle her cat, grab coffee at Gates, and getting her work done in Olin basement.
