SHE/HER
Cathryn is a junior from Connecticut double majoring in English and American Studies while pursuing Law and Society & Crime, Prisons, Education, and Justice minors. With a broad interest in public interest law, Cathryn is interested in how legal advocacy can serve and represent minority groups, women, and children. More specifically, she has interests in civil rights litigation, criminal justice, protecting migrants' rights, and human rights law. Outside of KAPi, Cathryn is VP of Programming Outreach for Cornell University Parole Initiative, and serves as Project Team Manager of Sentencing Advocacy and Reform for Prison Reform and Education Project. She has previously interned with the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti (IJDH) and Human Rights First. She hopes to continue her passion for serving underrepresented groups and communities. In her free time, you can find her obsessing over the Marvel Cinematic Universe or diving into one of her many books.
